Cappellos is a contemporary Italian Restaurant situated within the Red Lion Hotel. The atmosphere is vibrant, light and airy which makes it perfect for a meal for one, two or a party! Fresh pizza dough, handmade daily and cooked in an authentic stone baked oven ensures you will taste the genuine article every time. There’s no frozen or boil in a bag dishes on this menu; all are prepared on site with ingredients being sourced locally or imported from Italy.

The main bar and conservatory provide an extensive choice of more traditional English pub classics, from great burgers, steaks and pies as well as an extensive range of teas, coffees, snacks and sandwiches which are also available all day and evening. A traditional Sunday Carvery Lunch is served every Sunday in the conservatory from 12.00 till 4.00pm and is ideal for the whole family.

You can choose from sitting in a casual bar lounge environment with the sport on a large screen TV, or the more formal table service in the conservatory. There’s also a peaceful library if you yearn for some quiet solitude!

We have stunning private dining facilities with the wood panelled Lady Godiva Room, which can seat up to 32 guests at one table or the Long Room for larger celebrations. The Long Room has a private bar facility and a dance floor and con cater for up to 100 people.
